Pell Grants will be paid to all students who are eligible and enrolled in summer term.  Unused portions of summer, fall and winter Pell will be rolled to spring term, 2009 up to maximum eligibility for the term.

Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)
SEOG awards are federally funded. COCC is responsible for selecting eligible students and determining the amount of the award.  The SEOG is for undergraduates with exceptional financial need and gives priority to students who receive Pell Grants.  SEOG awards at COCC are $360 per student and are not pro-rated.  Not everyone who qualifies will receive this grant due to limited federal funding.  This is why it is important to apply early for financial aid.  Students with a prior bachelor’s degree are not eligible.  The SEOG is not available for summer term.
